(Laughlin, Nevada) According to Nevada State Police, troopers are investigating the cause of the Laughlin rollover crash that killed two people and injured one person. Nevada State Police state that the crash occurred on State Route 163, Laughlin Highway, at mile marker 7 on Sunday. Preliminary investigation confirmed two people died with one in critical conditions and was airlifted to the hospital. The eastbound lanes to Laughlin Highway at mile mark 7, were shut down. (Greenwood Village, Colorado) Greenwood Village Police Department charged Luis Enrique-Pena, 19, from Westminster, Colorado with Vehicular Homicide because of reckless driving, hit-and-run that involved death or injury and driving under a revoked license. On August 30th, Greenwood Village Police responded to a report of a two vehicle crash. The crash occurred on northbound l-25, north of East Orchard Road at around 2:26 a.m. Officers arrived to the scene, they found a male unresponsive. (Madera County, California) On September 2nd, a 13-year-old boy, and three others died in Madera County in a two vehicle crash. According to California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred in Road 9 and Avenue 21, when a GMC Sierra, with two others in the vehicle, was driving east on Avenue 21 when it failed to stop at a red light. This led the vehicle to crash into a Honda CR-V traveling northbound causing the death of four out of five victims in the Honda vehicle. (Santa Monica (10) Freeway, California) A pedestrian was hit and killed today by a pick-up driver on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway. California Highway Patrol received reports of the fatal collision at around 3:59 a.m., on the westbound (10) freeway. Following the crash, Two middle lanes were shut down. (Downtown LA, California) Last week, a woman now identified as Violeta Castillo, was fatally shot by a suspected bicyclist in Downtown LA. The shooting occurred on August 27th at the intersection of South Towne Avenue and East Sixth Street. Violeta Castillo suffered a gun wound to the head and was pronounced dead on the scene. According to LAPD, the shooter left the scene with a motorcyclist, traveling north on South Towne, reported by a witness. (Colorado Springs, Colorado) On Wednesday, September 2nd, a motorcyclist died from a two vehicle crash on East Platte Avenue. Colorado Springs Police Department received reports of a two vehicle crash involving injuries. Officers and Medical personnel arrived at the scene offering medical aid. (Riverside, California) Charges may be filed for Jesus Perez Salcido after allegedly hitting two people using his motorcycle just outside of a warehouse. According to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, at 10:20 a.m., Salcido accelerated into a crowd of people striking two of them on Krameria Avenue, near Bundy Avenue. The two victims have not been identified. The incident occurred when Teamster Organizers protested at the Amazon distribution center. (Sacramento, California) According to California Highway Patrol, a woman was fixing her bicycle when she got hit by a vehicle along Franklin Boulevard in Sacramento County. CHP South Sacramento stated that the woman was riding her bike on the right bicycle lane when her trailer became detached. She then left her bike to fix the trailer’s axe onto the bike when she was run-over by a hit-and-run vehicle. The figure of the vehicle was a black pick-up truck. (I-80, California) A fiery crash occurred on Wednesday when a pick up truck hauling a trailer crashed with an SUV leading the truck to get caught on fire just before 7:30 a.m., on I-80 near Sierra College Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol log, the pickup truck contained gasoline canisters that were explosive. The crash blocked off all westbound lanes of I-80 including the eastbound lanes.
