(Cerritos, California) Around 12:30 a.m. on October 6th, an SUV struck a stationary vehicle killing James Vazquez at the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway. According to the CHP spokesperson, the collision occurred on the northbound of the (605) freeway, just south of Artesia. (Irvine, California) On October 16, a suspected DUI driver, 28-year-old Adam Gabriel Canchola was arrested in connection to a crash that killed a woman identified as 83-year-old Effat Setayeshgar Tinoosh in Harvard Avenue and Paseo West Park. (San Diego, California) On October 23th at 3:33 a.m., a vehicle crash occurred just north of Clairemont Boulevard on the I-15 freeway that killed one person and two others. (South Los Angeles, California) On October 24th, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a grey sedan hit and killed Bruce Federick Buchanan, 66, while making a turn from a gas station to W. Manchester Avenue.
