(Mesa, Arizona) A pick-up truck and a SUV both crashed near Stapley Drive and 7th Avenue on August 9th. Idolinda and Romero Apolinar and Gloria Apolinar Matias were both in one vehicle. One of them died later at a local hospital while one died on scene. Two others involved were injured. Stapley Drive was closed but later re-opened. Police say that speed may have been a factor. (George, Washington) Brayan Reyes Alferez was charged with vehicle homicide when he collided head-on onto another vehicle. The vehicle collision occurred approximately on Westbound 1-90, South of George. Washington State Patrol confirmed that the driver, Alferez, was under the influence of alcohol and drugs when colliding head on into another vehicle. He was traveling east in the westbound lanes. (Scottsdale, Arizona) Scottsdale police officers were reported on a two truck collision involving two trucks around 9:20 a.m., August 7th, at Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads. Two trucks collided onto each other with one towing a trailer. Scottsdale Police confirmed that the collision caused the trailer to flip, causing some road blocks on the Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads. (Long Beach, California) An unidentified male bicyclist dies in a crash on the 710 Freeway in East Los Angeles. California Highway Patrol confirmed the report of the collision was made at around 3:20 a.m. It occurred the southbound Long Beach freeway, north of Floral Drive. (San Pedro, CA) Jonathan Ruiz, who allegedly killed David Heard, 39 from Murrieta, is now charged with a DUI, murder and several sentence-enhancing great bodily injury allegations. Ruiz is slated to be arraigned today on second-degree murder with other offenses. On July 24th, at around 7 a.m., Jonathan Ruiz allegedly drove past an intersection of Rancho California Road and Riesling Court in Temecula and hit Heard while he was crossing the intersection. (Bellflower, CA) Friday, at around 5:35 a.m., Antonio was riding his scooter at or near the intersection of San Pedro Street and Colden Avenue when killed by a hit-and-run vehicle. (Oakland, California) A child driver hit a vehicle and a pedestrian without an adult present in the vehicle. The pedestrian was walking her dog across an intersection before getting struck. The child driver is a juvenile who was operating the vehicle. Inside was also his juvenile brother who’s under the age 10. (Long Beach, California) Two teenagers, 16 and 17-years old, were riding their motorized dirt bikes when a grey Ford Fusion vehicle struck the two, leading to critical and moderate injuries. The two teenagers were struck by the Ford Fusion vehicle while it was traveling northbound on Elm. The two teenagers were riding their motorized dirt bike westbound on market street. (Douglas County, Nevada) Two vehicles were involved in a collision in Douglas County in Nevada. Three people are currently injured due to the collision. Nevada Highway Patrol received a report on the two head-on collisions at around 7:27 p.m. The incident occurred 10 miles on U.S 50 between State Route 28 and Glenbrook Road. The SUV and Sedan riders were injured. Two were flown by an air ambulance to a hospital and one taken by ground ambulance. (West Desert Inn Road, Nevada) A 2105 Nissan Versa was heading toward the 2020 Hyundai Tucson westbound resulting in a fatal collision. The first collision impacted a Toyota Tundra that stopped and attempted to exit a parking lot. The driver of the Toyota Tundra was identified as a 77 year old. The Hyundai Tucson involved a 31-year old woman driver and a 4-year old passenger police confirmed. The two victims were sent to UMC hospital for their minor injuries.
