(Coronado, California) A man who died in the Coronado motorcycle crash last week near Silver Strand State Beach was identified as Corbin McKinney,25, of San Diego. According to the Coronado Police Department, on September 16th officers received reports in regard to the collision that occurred at Silver Strand Boulevard just before 11:30 p.m. The collision occurred when McKinney was traveling to the south on state Route 75, just north of Rainbow Drive. (San Gabriel (605) Freeway, California) A multiple vehicle collision occurred today with a big-rig vehicle causing three lanes on the southbound of the San Gabriel River (605) freeway to be closed. According to the California Highway Patrol, debris was removed from the third lane and is now open. There are no immediate reports on whether injuries were involved and a Sigalert was issued. (Long Beach, California) On September 13th, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Juvenal Banderas was struck by three vehicles and only one stopped at the scene at Pacific Avenue. When responding officers arrived at the scene, they found Banderas on the roadway and rendered aid until paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department arrived at the scene and transported him to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. (Palmdale, California) Last Wednesday, a woman who was struck by a vehicle was identified on September 21st as Lizbeth Molina, 23, who died at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue P. According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office, Molina died from blunt force traumatic injuries and listed her manner of death as accidental. According to Lt. L. Arnold of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Palmdale Stations, a passerby reported Molina as she was laid onto the road as vehicles drove around her. (San Fernando Valley, California) On September 21st, a third arraignment was postponed following Bailee Rios appearance in the San Fernando courthouse on Friday, September 18th. When Rios arrived at the San Fernando courthouse she did not seem to be in stable conditions and arrived with an ambulance and was wheeled into the building in a gurney. (Montecito Heights, California) On September 22nd at approximately 2:57 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Montecito Heights at the Arroyo Seco (110) Parkway near Pasadena Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol spokesperson, the pedestrian was taken to a hospital following the accident and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. (Escondido, California) On Monday at approximately 7:45 p.m., a crash occurred when a 47-year-old man stepped into traffic toward an oncoming vehicle in the northbound lanes of Centre City Parkway. Police stated that the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities did not find evidence speeding, alcohol or drugs as a factor in regards to the driver. After the crash, a bystander rendered aid to the man before he was transported to a local hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced dead. (Riverside (91) Freeway, California) On September 18th, Eddie Chavarria IV, 48, attempted to cross Riverside (91) Freeway when a Honda HRV struck him on eastbound 91. According to officer Javier Navarro, Chavarria was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 in the toll lanes when his vehicle stopped working. (Colorado Springs, Colorado) On September 15th, early Morning, a rollover crash injured five people, involving three children near Duplin and Poudre Way. According to CSPD, officers responded to the two vehicle crash and confirmed that three children were in one vehicle that rolled over from ages of 12-16 years-old with an adult and the second vehicle only involving one adult.
