(Las Vegas, Nevada) At approximately 9:01 a.m., troopers received reports on a vehicle crash that occurred near the south end of the Las Vegas Strip involving a Zoox autonomous vehicle and a silver Nissan Murano. According to investigators, police said that there was no one inside the Zoox. (Riverside, California) On September 25th, Richard Dominguez was identified as the bicyclist who was struck by a Tract-Trailer at Indiana Avenue and Jefferson Street on Thursday. According to Detective Steve Espinosa, the big-rig was making an eastbound turn on riverside street when the bicyclist and the tractor trailer collided into one another. (Corona, California) On September 22nd, 4-year-old boy Nathan Paez was killed after a vehicle struck him in the 1400 block of Pleasant View Avenue, near Smith Avenue and south of the Riverside (91) Freeway. According to the Corona Police Department, a vehicle traveling eastbound with an unknown speed struck the child at 2:35 p.m. The relatives of the child were busy “attending to a vehicle parked along the street” when the child went onto the narrow two-lane corridor. (San Fernando, Valley) Bailee Rios pleaded not guilty on September 24th on the killing of two and injuring five others including herself in Chatsworth, California. Bailee Rios is currently charged for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs, speeding with two counts of second degree murder, one felony count that caused an injury as well as misdemeanor in reckless driving. (Highway 101, Oregon) On Saturday, September 19th, a Portland man dies after getting struck by three vehicles on Highway 101, just near Gleneden Beach in Lincoln County. According to investigators, the pedestrian was walking close or on the travel lane and was struck by a gray Chevrolet, driven by 61-year-old Renee Ronilyn Wohlwend, a white Mercedes Sprinter van driven by 34-years-old, Gregory Lear Miller and a blue Toyota Sequoia driven by 50 years-old, Michael Aaron Hadden. (Phoenix, Arizona) On September 24th, at about 5 a.m., first responders received reports on a roll over crash that occurred on the Buckeye Road and 47th Avenue. According to Phoenix Police Department, firefighters arrived to the scene and pulled the driver out of the flipped vehicle that rested on its side. (San Diego, California) On September 23rd at 10:10 p.m., an unidentified pedestrian was struck by a SUV vehicle outside a marked crosswalk in the 1800 Block of Broadway. According to San Diego police, the 21-year-old was driving a white 1997 Ford Explorer going westbound on Broadway while the pedestrian was crossing the 1800 block outside a marked crosswalk. (San Diego, California) A bicyclist was killed at San Diego’s Egger Highlands Neighborhood when a vehicle going eastbound on the No.3 lane veered onto the right and struck the bicyclist from behind at the 1500 block of Palm Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, the victim was riding on a mountain bike going eastbound in the bicycle lane when the unknown vehicle struck them.
