(South LA, California) Back on March 25th, E-scooter rider, Christian Lira was traveling in the intersection of Hoover and 75th street when he was struck by a suspected hit-and-run driver. Police are in search of the driver with a reward of $50,000.
The reward is in regard to the suspect identification that caused Christian Lira fatal death, arrest and conviction.

Analysis on Hit-and-Run Driver
Investigators may take a look at Accidents and Accident Report law to determine the violation that the suspect may have gone against.
In this collision, the suspected hit-and-run driver may have violated Accidents and Accident Report law, code 20001 (a). This law discusses that any driver involved in an accident resulting in injury or death should stop and fulfill the requirements in 20003 and 20004.
If one violates (a) should be imprisoned in a state prison or county jail for at least 1 year. You can also be charged with a fine of $1,000 to $10,000 dollars. The interest of justice and what’s on record, they may reduce or eliminate minimum imprisonment stated in (2) of the code.
Wrongful Death File
If the family of the victim plans on filing a wrongful death, they may be permitted to do so under the Wrongful Death law, code 377.60. This code states one of the followings in (a) which states that a cause of death of a person resulted in a wrongful act or neglect of another may be asserted by any of the following persons or the decedent’s personal representative on their behalf.
In regards to having the rights of the descendants property, under (a), one of the closest family members of the deceased individuals start from a spouse, domestic partner, and children. If there are no surviving children, then the decedent’s property will go to the other relatives in inheriting their property.
