(Bakersfield, California) A man was struck by multiple vehicles with some that left the scene on August 10th, Monday morning.
The Bakersfield Police Department received a report at around 5:35 a.m. of a pedestrian on 24th street. When Officers arrived, the pedestrian was on the westbound lanes of 24th street and pronounced dead on scene.
Officers were in process of investigating the road leading it to shut down up until 9 a.m. on August 10th.

If so, they may review Offenses Involving Alcohol and Drugs law, code 23152 (a). This states that it is unlawful for anyone to be under the influence of any alcohol beverage to drive a vehicle. (b) they may also review this law, which states that it is unlawful for a person who has 0.08% percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in a person’s blood per 100 milliliters of blood or grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath.
