(Clovis, CA) A man riding an electric scooter was seriously hurt Saturday afternoon, December 6, in a Clovis Avenue accident at the intersection of Clovis and Santa Ana avenues. Officers said they responded just after 12:30 p.m. They learned that the man had been crossing Clovis Avenue in the marked crosswalk. At that moment, an oncoming vehicle struck him. (Oceanside, CA) A 52-year-old bicyclist was killed late Saturday night, December 6, in a South Harbor Drive collision near Oceanside Harbor. The crash happened in the 300 block of South Harbor Drive shortly after 10:30 p.m. OPD spokeswoman Gina Avalos said the bicyclist suffered severe injuries, including head trauma and a compound thighbone fracture.
