    Juvenile In Life-Threatening Injuries Following a Vehicle Crash in 51st Avenue and Bell Road

    Three hospitalized and one juvenile individual suffered life-threatening injuries from a three vehicle crash in 51st Avenue and Bell Road.

    (Phoenix, Arizona) On September 2nd, three hospitalized and one juvenile individual suffered life-threatening injuries from a three vehicle crash in 51st Avenue and Bell Road.

    At 11 p.m., fire officials and police responded to a collision involving a 16-year-old, 17-year-old, juvenile, and one individual who had to be ejected out of the vehicle involved. 

    The Phoenix Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Unit is currently investigating the collision. 

    Analysis on 51st Avenue and Bell Road

    We don’t know what caused the collision and who caused the collision, but if one of the drivers was speeding that resulted in the crash, The Phoenix Police Department’s Vehicle Crimes Unit may review code law 28-701. If while speeding, the driver was driving in a school crossing, they violated (1) of this code. This law states that you can not drive 15 miles per hour in a school crossing. It is also a violation to drive 65 miles per hour (2). 

    If one of the teenagers were at fault in the collision and did not have a valid driver’s license, that is a class 3 misdemeanor as stated in 28-3481.  

    If driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor was a factor in this collision, investigators may review 28-1381. (1) This law prohibits driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, any drugs, or vapor containing toxic substances. If the driver had any alcohol in their system
