(Long Beach, California) On October 6th, at around 5:40 a.m., Long Beach Police officers were notified of the Cambodia town vehicle crash that killed one person on Anaheim Street and Junipero Avenue. According to a Long Beach police officer, a pedestrian was walking on a marked cross-walk when a 2010 Toyota Prius, traveling eastbound on the first lane struck the pedestrian. (Indio, California) On October 4th, just after 9:30 a.m., a Indio wrong-way collision was reported shortly after a Mazda MPV crashed head-on onto a white Hyundai vehicle, killing one person and injuring two others. According to CHP, the Mazda traveled the wrong-way onto the Monroe Street off-ramp when it hit the Hyundai vehicle while it was exiting the freeway. The Mazda then caught on fire, killing the driver. (I-10, Arizona) On October 6th, shortly after 11 a.m., an I-10 vehicle crash at 43rd Avenue occurred involving three vehicles, killing a 4-year-old boy. According to investigators, a Dodge Challenger truck struck a slow moving Toyota Corolla. After the Toyota was hit, the vehicle then struck the rear of a Chrysler Pacifica. (Las Vegas, Nevada) Authorities are investigating the Las Vegas pedestrian crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near Duke Ellington Way and Tropicana Avenue on October 1st. (Long Beach, California) Yolanda Hernandez dies from traumatic injuries following a vehicle crash that occurred on September 25th at Baltic Avenue and Burnett Street. Upon investigation, authorities learned that Hernandez was walking across Burnett Street when she was struck by a white pickup truck. Police determined the driver headed southbound and was attempting to turn east onto Burnett. (Malibu, California) On Saturday, at approximately 7 a.m., a Malibu vehicle crash caused by a teenager driving a Range Rover, struck a parked vehicle where the long-time chef was inside of. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that Ryo Uchimiya suffered blunt-force injuries.
