(Hollywood, California) At about 6 p.m. on Sunday, firefighters and paramedics responded to a four vehicle crash that occurred at 2888 N. Cahuenga Blvd near the Hollywood Bowl leading to one individual hospitalized. According to Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman Jamie Stewart, four patients were evaluated. Stewart says that a possible transportation could be made for the additional patients. The Los Angeles Police Transportation were requested to shut down parts of Cahuenga Boulevard for about one or two hours. Motorists’ vehicles were suggested to also avoid the area as well. (Van Nuys, California) At around 2:57 a.m., a report was made on a two vehicle crash involving a CHP SUV vehicle and a Honda Accord. The collision occurred on Tyrone Avenue and Oxnard Street in Van Nuys. The crash sent the SUV to go through a wall and rest on the right front and left side doors. The Honda vehicle had front-end damage. There has been no information on who’s fault it was that caused the collision. (Phoenix, Arizona) Phoenix fire officials received reports on a two vehicle crash involving two kids who are now hurt. The collision occurred on the intersection of Cave Creek and Beardsley roads at around 7:15 on Thursday, August 20th. When firefighters arrived at the scene they found Sean McArthur, one of the drivers in the collision with extreme critical injuries and was taken to the hospital. Another woman was also critically injured and transported as well. Two children were with minor injuries and sent to the hospital as well. (Las Vegas, Nevada) Two vehicles struck a 55-year old Vahan Nazarian leading the individual to fatally die in Las Vegas due to their injuries. Just before 4 p.m., Nazarian was walking outside a marked crosswalk when a Honda Civic that was going west on West Charleston Boulevard hit the individual. He then fell on the road. Nazarian was then struck by a BMW while the vehicle was trying to avoid the Honda Civic. Medical emergency services were reported to the scene. Nazarian was later pronounced dead due to his injuries. (Pierce County, Washington) On August 19th, a vehicle driver was charged after striking a 68-Year Old motorcyclist while waiting at a stop light. According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, this led him to fly out of his vehicle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and tried to retrieve the 68 year old motorcyclist but tragically died at the scene. The driver showed signs of impairment and was taken to the Pierce County Jail with charges of DUI and vehicle homicide. Investigations are ongoing at the moment. (South Los Angeles, California) Yesterday, Mark Cooper,23, was identified after getting hit by a sedan on 56th street. He was killed, including one other pedestrian on sight. The driver left the scene without stopping. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified Mark Cooper, but his residence has not been identified. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a light sedan vehicle struck the two pedestrians around 10:55 am. The driver did not stay at the scene and fled north on Western. (Las Vegas, Nevada) Friday Morning a hit-and-run multi-vehicle crash occurred on 1-15 southbound with five injuries and a diesel spill after the emergency vehicles were striked. Nevada Highway Patrol had received an initial report on a three vehicle crash that happened near southbound 1-15 marker 7, north of the California border. The crash was a hit-and-run case. (Tucson, Arizona) 11 year old boy was killed just near the Gladden Farms area, yesterday in Marana as he was riding his bicycle. The Marina Police Department confirmed that the incident occurred near North Midfield and West Hanack Drive. The light colored sedan vehicle was going northbound on Midfield when the driver struck the boy. The 11-year old was crossing Midfield in an unmarked cross-walk while going eastbound with a helmet on. (Mesa County, California) California Highway Patrol confirmed that the deceased driver of a Subaru Outback who hit a white Ford F-150 vehicle last month was an intentional act. Mesa County Coroner investigators found out that the 32 year old Subaru Outback driver had a blood alcohol content of 0.235 which is nearly three times more than the legal limit. The crash occurred July 10th when the Subaru driver was driving in the eastbound lanes the wrong way near Utah State line in Mesa County. The driver then hit an F-150 vehicle head on.
