    Four Injured in Seven Vehicle Crash in Tucson, Arizona

    Four people were taken to the hospital after a seven vehicle crash that occurred on Valencia Road and Settler Avenue.

    (Tucson, Arizona) A seven vehicle crash occurred at Valencia Road and Settler Avenue at approximately 7:45 a.m. on September 22nd.

    Four people were transported to a hospital and are in non life-threatening conditions. Pima County’s Sheriff’s Department states that the eastbound lane in Valencia Road is currently closed.

    Legal Analysis on Seven Vehicle Crash at Valencia Road and Settler Avenue

    Currently, we know so little about the vehicle crash but there are many possibilities of what caused the fatal crash. If distracted driving were involved in the collision, investigators may review ARS 28-914 as it prohibits driving while holding a device.

    Hypothetically, if Drugs or alcohol played a factor in this collision, investigators may review ARS 28-1381 as it prohibits driving or being in control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol , drugs, and any vapor releasing toxic substances. If the driver had 0.08% or more of BAC within two hours of driving is considered Driving Under the Influence and has committed a class 1 misdemeanor. If the driver did commit a class 1 misdemeanor, then under (ARS)13-802, they may be fined at least $2,000.
