(South Los Angeles, California) Yesterday, Mark Cooper, 23, was identified after getting hit by a sedan on 56th street. He was killed, including one other pedestrian on sight. The driver left the scene without stopping.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified Mark Cooper, but his residence has not been identified.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a light sedan vehicle struck the two pedestrians around 10:55 am. The driver did not stay at the scene and fled north on Western.
After the incident, both victims were taken to a medical facility where Cooper was pronounced dead.
