(San Diego, CA) A collision with a pedestrian on the freeway leaves them with fatal injuries in San Diego.
On Thursday, May 29 at about 5:20 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of the 805 Freeway crash. It occurred on the northbound lane toward 43rd Street.
When CHP officers investigated, they learned a Chevrolet Tahoe struck a female pedestrian as she attempted to cross traffic lanes on the freeway. When officials arrived at the 805 Freeway crash scene, they pronounced the victim dead. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
