According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the collision occurred around 8:35 a.m. near Fernleaf Avenue. A vehicle traveling northbound on PCH struck the bicyclist. (West Rancho Dominguez, CA) An East 139th Street collision resulted in the death of Georgia Moore, 68, Friday evening, October 24, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP officers were called around 7:23 p.m. to East 139th Street and Avalon Boulevard. Initial reports indicate that a white sedan had struck Moore in the roadway, said CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
