The collision occurred around 5:10 a.m. on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway at the Polk Street off-ramp. Officers arrived to find extensive damage at the scene. Officials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the crash occurred just after 7:35 a.m. on East Avenue S near the intersections with 50th and 52nd streets. CHP said the two-vehicle collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. at Sierra Highway and Anthony Road. (Fresno, CA) A man believed to be in his 40s or 50s died Tuesday morning, January 6, after being struck by a vehicle in a Fresno Street accident. The Fresno Police Department said officers arrived to the intersection of Fresno Street and Carmen Avenue at around 5:45 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway who had been hit by a vehicle.
