Bakersfield, CA (June 26, 2024) In a traumatic collision that occurred Tuesday evening, one person was severely injured, and another passed away. It was about 10:16 p.m. that night when authorities received word of a two-vehicle crash near Sawmill Road. As it turned out, two cars were heading in opposite directions on Highway 155. A Toyota Prius was in the westbound lane, and a Chevrolet Impala was in the eastbound lane. Fresno County, CA (June 26, 2024) A sad accident occurred early this morning leaving one person in the hospital and one person deceased. A little after 4 a.m., a man travelling on Shaw in a Hyundai swerved into oncoming traffic. He crashed head-on with a pickup truck that was travelling east. The impact was fatal. The driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck thankfully survived the terrifying collision, but they did suffer injuries. Buena Park, CA (June 26, 2024) A violent and intense collision occurred in Buena Park Tuesday evening. At least six cars were involved. The crash took place at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Beach Boulevard. The Orange County Fire Authority reports that it occurred around 4 p.m. Apparently, a driver in a white Tesla was speeding when they crashed (possibly in a head-on collision). San Diego, CA (June 26, 2024) Yesterday, in the evening of June 25, a frightening car accident left a 67-year-old woman injured. She was walking in the Emerald Hills neighborhood when it happened. At around 6:25 p.m., a 33-year-old man was driving a 2005 GMC Yukon down the road. He was heading westbound on 5100 Lenox Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department. Adelanto, CA. (June 26, 2024) A little girl was severely injured in a six-car pileup that occurred last Thursday, June 20, in San Bernardino County. Her father, whose name is Marcus Coleman, told reporters that his daughter was riding in a Toyota Corolla when a semi-truck struck it from behind on Highway 395. His daughter, Dalilah, is only 5 years old. She is from Bakersfield. The initial collision apparently escalated into a six-car pileup. Dalilah was pinned in the back seat and badly hurt. Oildale, CA (June 25, 2024) A tragedy occurred early this morning near Bakersfield when a hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian. California Highway Patrol reported that the collision happened around 2:46 a.m. south of Washington Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a male pedestrian lying in the slow lane of Airport Drive. Investigation revealed that when the pedestrian was walking, a vehicle was heading southbound on the same road and in the same lane. San Jacinto, CA (June 25, 2024) One person was seriously injured when they were involved in a collision that stemmed from another man fleeing a DUI checkpoint. On Friday, June 21, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was conducting a DUI checkpoint in San Jacinto. A man named Antonio Cervantes apparently tried to escape from the checkpoint that evening. At around 10:11 p.m. he was involved in a collision at the intersection of Esplanade and San Jacinto Avenue. When deputies arrived, they found two cars. One was overturned.
