Sacramento, CA (June 28, 2024)
A crash occurred Thursday afternoon involving multiple vehicles that has caused slowdowns and backups in Sacramento.
At around 3:45 p.m., California Highway Patrol police officers were dispatched to Highway 99 in south Sacramento. They received word that at least two vehicles had collided. The lead-up to the collision, which happened near Sutterville Road, has still not been made clear.
The crash blocked at least one lane on the highway. It appears that either before or after the crash, a vehicle flipped over. When authorities arrived, they found it had landed on its roof.
At least one person was injured in this frightening crash. Their condition is currently unknown.
