(Anaheim, California) A suspected semi-truck driver struck a vehicle leading it to flip-over just before 9:30 p.m., on Wednesday.

California Highway Patrol confirmed that the incident occurred in Euclid street. Three people were in the vehicle that flipped over, resulting in one fatal death and two hurt. The CHP suspect that the vehicle that struck the rolled over vehicle, was a semi-truck.

The suspected semi-truck driver has not been found. The three victims, and injuries have also been unknown.

    Analysis on Euclid Street

Investigators can review certain laws that may relate to cases such as this. Since this is a hit-and-run incident, investigators may want to examine the Accident and Accidents Report, code 20001 to determine what hit-and-run driver violated, especially after leaving the scene without providing information to police and checking up on the deceased victim. They may look into (a) which states that drivers who have caused an injury or death, should stop the vehicle immediately and follow section 20003 and 20004.

Section 20003 and 20004 will likely be reviewed to better understand what requirements have to be followed had the driver stopped at the scene. Section 20003, code (a) states that vehicles must stop if involved in injuries or death. They shall share his or her name, address, vehicle registration, the owner information, and name and address of the person injured to the injured person or the police as well as calling or arranging medical care.

In Section 20004, states one of the requirements that relates to this case, (a) drivers must report to the nearest office of Department of the California Highway Patrol or the office of duly authorized police authority.
