(Aurora, Colorado) On July 27th, an unidentified driver struck a 26 year old male bicyclist resulting in his death. Police are in search of the hit-and-run suspect.
The vehicle that struck him may be 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy or a 2015-19 Subaru Outback. Investigators believe that the vehicle was damaged on the hood and perhaps the wind-shields. Police believes that the incident occurred on 1600 block of Powhaton Road north of East Jewell Avenue.
The Investigation is currently ongoing.

Criminally Neglect Homicide law (18-3-105) (a) states that drivers that cause criminal negligent in resulting to a death of a person have committed negligence homicide. Another law that the missing driver may have violated is the Careless Driving Penalty law 42-4-102 (B) due to ruling that if a driver causes an injury to an individual, they have committed Class 1 misdemeanor Traffic Offense.
In code 42-4-1008.5 (2) of Other Traffic Offenses, a driver who is in a careless and imprudent manner that is driving too close to a bicyclist, commits careless driving, is also ruled as a class 1 misdemeanor Traffic Offense which is for ones who injured or caused of death to an individual.
