(South Los Angeles, California) Around 8:47 p.m., a man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle on Wednesday, near the intersection of 69th street and Central Avenue of South Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the driver headed southbound on central avenue. At some point, they struck the victim, fleeing the scene.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead. Investigation and two police units remained at the scene until 1 a.m. on Thursday.
