(Los Angeles, CA) A Bundy Drive hit and run resulted in the death of Francis Shim, 60, in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, August 5, at around 2:10 p.m., the Bundy Drive hit and run occurred. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, it happened on the northbound lanes of Bundy Drive, south of West Pico Boulevard.

When authorities investigated, they learned a vehicle drove southbound in the northbound lanes of Bundy Drive. At some point, the vehicle struck Francis Shim standing in the roadway along the curb. By the time Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived, they pronounced Shim dead at the Bundy Drive hit and run crash site.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Francis Shim sustained multiple blunt force traumatic injuries. The vehicle did not remain at the scene, said police. There was no description of the vehicle, or the driver provided.
