(San Jacinto, CA) A Ramona Expressway crash resulted in the death of Cynthia Medina, 47, and one other as well as three other people injured in San Jacinto.
On Tuesday, August 5, at 4:22 p.m., the Ramona Expressway crash was reported. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, it happened at the Ramona Expressway, west of Sanderson Avenue.
Sgt. Patrick Lynch reported a vehicle drove westbound on Ramona Expressway. All of a sudden, for an unknown reason, it crossed over the center line, crashing head-on with Cynthia Medina.
When first responders arrived, they found several people injured from the Ramona Expressway crash. Three occupants of one vehicle received medical care at the scene, paramedics transporting them to a hospital with serious injuries. Cynthia Medina and one other occupant of the other vehicle required extrication. When paramedics rescued her and the other occupant, they pronounced them dead at the scene.
