Healdsburg, CA (December 14, 2023) Joseph Paz, 55, a Santa Rosa resident, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, December 9th, in Healdsburg. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said that the accident occurred near Grove Street and Dry Creek Road, just east of Highway 101.
Calls about the accident began coming in around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Healdsburg Police Department. Officers arrived at the scene, along with paramedics, and found Paz lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Officers had to shut down the intersection at Grove Street and Dry Creek Road for several hours to investigate the accident. Paz’s damaged motorcycle had to be hauled away from the scene and crews cleared the roadway from debris.
Investigators are still not sure exactly what caused this fatal collision in Healdsburg. There was also no information about the other vehicle that was involved or if the occupants of that vehicle were injured. Officers are currently conducting a thorough investigation and hope to have answers to this tragic accident soon.
