(Long Beach, California) On Monday, July 13, Brian McBroom, 53, died when a black vehicle, a white truck and a red sedan, struck him while walking northbound outside of a cross-walk.
At around 11:44 A.M., officers responded to the report. Upon arrival, the Long Beach Fire Department and police officers located the pedestrian on Ocean Boulevard and Golden Avenue. Long Beach Fire Department then confirmed that McBroom has died.
Officers confirmed that the drivers did not stop for the victim and proceeded to leave the scene. Any witnesses of the hit-and-run accident were suggested to contact Ashley Van Holland, the LAPD detective.
As of now, officers has not located Brian McBroom residency. The accident is currently under investigation.
