Orangevale, CA (August 31, 2024) A woman was hospitalized on Thursday morning, August 29th, following a two-vehicle crash in Orangevale. The accident took place at the intersection of Hazel Avenue and Greenback Lane, just before 6:00 a.m, according to reports.
Two vehicles approached the intersection of Hazel Avenue and Greenback Lane at the same time on Thursday morning, August 29th. For reasons that remain unknown, the two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time and collided. The collision was reported at approximately 5:54 a.m., and left the two damaged vehicles in the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic.
First responders hurried to the scene in Sacramento County and found the two vehicles with heavy damage, sitting in the middle of the Orangevale intersection. They quickly checked the vehicles, ready to provide medical assistance to anyone in need. They found one woman with injuries, according to reports. She was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for undisclosed injuries.
Officers are currently investigating the accident to determine what happened at that Orangevale intersection and who was responsible for this two-vehicle collision. Tow trucks were requested at the scene to remove both of the damaged vehicles following the initial investigation. Once the vehicles were removed, crews worked as quickly as they could to remove the debris from the roadway.
