Garden Grove, CA (November 2, 2023) – Two men tragically lost their lives on Monday, October 30th, after being struck in a fatal crash on Magnolia Avenue in Garden Grove, California. According to news source, MyNewLA, the accident took place around 4;35 p.m. just off of the Garden Grove 22 Freeway.
Police reports indicate that 37 year old Britney Marie Perez was had just exited the eastbound side of the 22 Freeway and entered an intersection on Magnolia Avenue. She reportedly made an improper left turn and collided violently with three other vehicles in the intersection. The first vehicle she hit was a northbound compact car with two men in their 40s inside. This vehicle received the worst of the impact, severely injuring both men.

Paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority were called to the scene to assist the two injured men, who had been trapped in their car by the wreckage, and any others with injuries. Sadly, both men were pronounced dead at the scene despite the paramedics’ efforts.
Britney Marie Perez is now facing two counts of second degree murder. Police are continuing their investigation into this fatal crash on Magnolia Avenue.
