Officers with the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station arrived at the scene and found the six damaged vehicles. Debris littered the highway in every direction for several feet. Deputies hurried to the vehicles to find anyone who might need medical attention. The exact number of injured people is unknown, but deputies reported several injuries. One victim sustained critical injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital via helicopter.
Deputy J. Guzman reported that his team investigated the scene and are working to determine what exactly happened on Highway 395 in Adelanto. He said that anyone with information regarding this six-vehicle collision is asked to contact the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station at 760-552-6800. They are working as quickly as they can to determine what caused this accident and who was responsible. Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the highway and it took crews hours to clean up all of the debris that was left behind.
