(Ford Dry Lake Road, California) After 6:30 A.M, Sunday, August 2nd, a report was made on a Riverside County Collision led to three fatal deaths in Interstate 10 Blythe.
California State Patrol confirmed that a 2017 Mercedes C300 was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes 1-10 in the wrong direction. Driver then crashed into the 2021 Chevrolet. The Mercedes came to a rest on the freeway while the Chevrolet had stopped. Both of the drivers were deceased after the collision. The front right passenger of the Chevrolet passed away on the way to the hospital to receive treatment.
Identifications were released of the victims and driver as Marias Doloras Romero Davila, 36, from Phoenix. Arizona, Jose Luis Lomeli, 44, from Riverside. and Fernando Lomeli, 38 from Riverside.
Another Passenger of the Chevrolet vehicle was severely injured and taken to the Desert Regional Medical Center.
Identifications on who the victims are and Mercedes driver have yet to be confirmed.
