(Santa Ana, CA) – A 25-year-old man was tragically killed in a Santa Ana car crash on Saturday, December 21.
Reports state that Reuben Contreras of Santa Ana was driving northbound on Harbor Boulevard at 9:19 a.m. when he began a left turn onto Croddy Way.
Santa Ana Police Department said that as Contreras made the turn, a driver in a GMC Sierra driving southbound on Harbor struck his car.
Paramedics tragically pronounced the victim dead at the scene, police said. The other driver was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash, but the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
