(West Rancho Domingo, California) California Highway Patrol confirmed that a report was made at around 4:10 a.m. today of a pedestrian near Compton who died after being struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and East 13th Street.
Los Angeles Medical Examiners arrived at the scene and the victim was pronounced dead on scene.
The identity of the victim and the suspect have not been known to the public.

If a commercial vehicle was involved in the fatal accident, it is illegal for them to have 0.04% of alcohol in their blood, by weight, to drive a vehicle. If they regardless did so, then they may be punished for violating this law.
