BAKERSFIELD, CA (AUGUST 5, 2023): A pedestrian is injured after a hit-and-run collision in the Olidale area Wednesday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck around 10:23 a.m. on Decatur Street near Olidale Drive. The driver then fled the scene.

Authorities are working to identify the suspect and his vehicle. The extent of the injuries sustained by the pedestrian remains unknown.
