(Los Feliz, California) On Saturday, August 15th, a two vehicle crash took place on the Golden State Freeway (5). One was pronounced dead and one has multiple injuries.
California Highway Patrol confirmed that the crash specifically was at the Los Feliz off-ramp. A Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound in the number 4 lane. The vehicle then veered into the right shoulder and then veered on its left shoulder across the lanes.
This impacted the concrete center divider. When the driver of the Toyota Corolla vehicle lost control, the vehicle ended up also impacting a Honda Pilot SUV moving both vehicles to the right shoulder.
After, the vehicle struck a concrete wall. One person was sent to the hospital. Another individual was pronounced dead on scene. It has not been entirely confirmed whether the injured individual was in the Honda or the Toyota Corolla vehicle.
