(Delano, CA) Ivan Garza, a former Offensive Lineman for Sacramento State, was hit by a car in his hometown of Delano, Wednesday, July 10.
Police stated that Garza was around Glenwood street when a vehicle driving northbound struck him. Police states that the driver stayed on the scene for the investigation.
A memorial was held yesterday (June 12th) in Delano, surrounded by his loved ones. A GoFundMe page for the family regarding unexpected funeral costs. “We are asking for your support to help ease this burden so Sandra and her family can focus on honoring Ivan’s life, celebrating his memory, and beginning the difficult journey of healing.”
