(Lake Mathews, CA) A crash near Lake Mathews fatally injured Edward Pluma.
On Thursday, May 1 before 1 p.m., reports of the rollover crash near Lake Mathews came to authorities. It occurred at the intersection of Gavilan and Cajalco Road.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, Sheriff’s deputies discovered a sedan off the side of the road, down a 25-foot embankment. Minutes later, paramedics arrived and attempted to make contact with Edward Pluma, 27.
After a short time, first responders pronounced Pluma dead from the rollover crash at about 1:20 p.m. California Highway Patrol officers took over the investigation.
