(Garnet, CA) A Dillon Road collision involving two vehicles resulted in one person hospitalized from major injuries in Garnet.
On Wednesday, June 4, a little before 2:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of the Dillon Road crash. It occurred at the intersection of Dillon Road and Mountain View Road, just south of Desert Hot Springs.
When CHP officers arrived at the crash site, they learned a woman driving a white Nissan Rogue ran a red light. After doing so, she hit the side of a red Nissan Altima, causing it to roll over onto its roof.
As soon as first responders reached the crash site, they extricated the trapped victim and transported them to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. The driver suffered lacerations to the head as a result of the Dillon Road collision.
