Winterhaven, CA (October 10, 2023) – At least one individual was injured on Monday, October 9th, in a truck collision on I-8 East in Winterhaven. The accident took place around 11:10 p.m. near Gordons Well Road.
An SUV and a semi-truck collided on the interstate. One of the vehicles lost control and crashed into the guardrail, damaging a 30 foot section. Damage also extended to the barriers on a bridge which was under construction at the time.

At least one individual involved requested medical attention from paramedics. Witnesses indicated that an additional white semi-truck may also have been involved, but had left the scene.
