Fresno, CA (November 1, 2023) – At least four people were reported injured on Monday, October 30th, after a severe multi-vehicle accident on Butler Avenue in Fresno, California. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident took place at approximately 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Butler and Clovis Avenue.
The CHP reported that a total of three vehicles were involved in the collision including a Ford Explorer, a Honda Accord, and a Honda CRV. The incident began when the Ford Explorer reportedly ran a red light, causing it to collide with a the Accord which was conducting a legal left turn. The sudden impact led to the CRV crashing into the other vehicles from behind.

Paramedics were called to the scene where they found at least four individuals with varying levels of injury. Two occupants of the Honda Accord had to be rushed to nearby Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile the drivers of the other two vehicles reported minor injuries including neck pain and minor cuts.
Police are investigating the cause of the multi-vehicle accident on Butler Avenue.
