Lafayette, CA (October 23, 2023) One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 24 in Lafayette on Monday morning. The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on October 23rd.

Officers arrived at the scene, just east of Pleasant Hill Road, in Contra Costa County, to find 4 damaged vehicles. A report stated that a small dark sedan, a Ford F-150 pickup, a blue van and a silver Subaru Crosstrek were involved in the collision.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found one person who was injured. They were transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the highway and crews had to clear debris from the road. Authorities are investigating this collision to determine who was at fault and what caused this accident.
