A pedestrian lost their life after being stuck by a vehicle at the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Hazeltine Avenue. It all happened at approximately 11:30 p.m., reports indicated.
As a vehicle approached the intersection of Burbank Avenue and Hazeltine Avenue, heading west, in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles, they suddenly noticed a pedestrian in front of them. The driver didn’t have time to stop and at 11:30 p.m., they struck the pedestrian, throwing them to the ground. The driver immediately stopped and waited for police officers to arrive at the scene.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian on the ground with fatal injuries. With heavy hearts, authorities pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene and requested a coroner.
