Westlake, CA (August 23, 2024) Two women were seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Westlake on Thursday, August 22.
Shortly before 2 p.m., a crash occurred in the 1400 block of West Eighth Street. It’s still unclear how the collision began or how many people were involved.
Two women sustained severe injuries and were taken to the hospital. Another person at the scene declined medical treatment.
One woman, a 28-year-old, had to be freed from a vehicle and was determined to be in critical condition. The other woman, a 32-year-old, was determined to be in serious condition.
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
