Officers with the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the four vehicles in the middle of the highway. They hurried to the vehicles and found the driver of the gray Toyota bleeding, officers reported. Officers stated that the victim had head trauma and was rushed to a nearby hospital to receive emergency care. The victim was alert and told paramedics that their hands were going numb.
