San Diego, CA (August 5, 2024) A motorcyclist under the influence of alcohol was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in the Kearny Mesa community of San Diego, authorities reported.
The collision occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 3 in the 9300 block of Lightwave Avenue, the San Diego Police Department reported.
The biker is reportedly a 31-year-old who was riding a 2021 Honda motorcycle. He was traveling westbound before striking the center median, causing him to be ejected from the bike.
Thankfully, the motorcyclist survived. However, he sustained abrasions, an orbital fracture, and a skull fracture.
