Redwood City, CA (July 25, 2024) Four vehicles collided in Redwood City on Wednesday morning, July 24th. Officers reported that the collision occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on Highway 101, near Woodside Road. The collision left at least one person with injuries, according to reports.

Vehicles drove along the southbound lanes of Highway 101 on Wednesday morning, July 24th, in Redwood City. For reasons that are still a mystery, four vehicles ended up colliding on that stretch of roadway, south of Woodside Road. Following the accident, the damaged vehicles blocked a portion of the roadway, according to reports. Debris on the highway also made it difficult for motorists to travel.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the four vehicles in the middle of the roadway. They hurried to the vehicles, searching for anyone who may have been injured in the accident. Reports indicated that at least one person was found with injuries, leading officers to request an ambulance at the scene. Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital where they received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers had to direct traffic around the accident so investigators could gather evidence and take statements. They are working to determine what caused this four-vehicle accident on Highway 101 in Redwood City. A tow truck arrived at the scene to haul at least one of the damaged vehicles from the scene and the debris and glass that had been left behind was swept up as quickly as possible.
