Las Vegas, NV (July 15, 2024) An accident took place early in the morning on Sunday, July 14. At about 7:57 a.m., a car collided with a motorcycle.
27-year-old Jordyn Hoffman was riding his 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Buffalo Dr. and coming up to Alta Dr. A 24-year-old in a 1998 Ford Expedition was attempting a left from southbound Buffalo Dr. to eastbound Alta Dr.
The traffic light was reportedly flashing a yellow left turn arrow at this time. The Ford driver did not yield the right of way to Hoffman, and they collided.
Hoffman was rushed to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries. His condition is not available at the time of writing.
The Ford driver did not sustain injuries and police determined he was not impaired.
