Van Nuys, CA (July 12, 2024)
A man tragically died after being struck by a vehicle on June 30 in Van Nuys.
The man, described as being between 60 and 70, was walking on Sepulveda Boulevard and crossing the street when a driver struck him around 8:55 p.m. The vehicle, which was traveling southbound, hit the man near Haynes Street and continued driving.
Authorities rushed the victim to the hospital. He tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Now, police are asking the public for help finding the hit-and-run driver. The city has a standing $50,000 reward offer for information that leads to a conviction of the driver.
