Los Angeles, CA (June 27, 2024) A collision occurred in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 23rd, that involved a police cruiser and left three people with injuries. Other police officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at the scene with paramedics. They found the patrol car with front-end damage and a civilian vehicle, also with severe body damage. Paramedics located the two officers with minor injuries. They were taken to a local hospital to to receive treatment, but will make full recoveries, according to reports. The driver of the civilian vehicle was found with critical injuries, officers reported. He was found breathing, but unconscious, they reported. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital to receive emergency care for his injuries.
Investigators are working to determine what caused this accident at a Los Angeles intersection. Officers want to remind drivers to be sure they can hear sirens while they are driving.
