Wildomar, CA (May 31, 2024) Sad news spread quickly through Wildomar on Memorial Day, May 27th, following the death of a motorcyclist. 38-year-old Bert Navarro was killed when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Olive Street and Grape Street. The Riverside County Sheriff reported that the fatal accident occurred right around 2:38 p.m.

Navarro, a Moreno Valley resident, was riding his motorcycle through Wildomar on Memorial Day. As he headed through the intersection of Olive Street and Grape Street, he collided with a passenger vehicle. Deputies with the Riverside Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station stated that the accident occurred at a four-way stop. The impact knocked over Navarro’s motorcycle and sent the rider flying through the air before landing, hard, on the roadway.

They continued as they rushed him to a nearby hospital via ambulance for treatment. The emergency staff at the hospital took over and did everything they could to save Navarro, but his injuries were too severe. With heavy hearts they pronounced Bert Navarro dead at the hospital.
