San Jose, CA (December 12, 2023) – 73 year old Padmanbhan Krishnan, a resident of San Jose, was tragically killed on Friday, December 8th, in a pedestrian accident on Almaden Expressway in San Jose, California. According to Mercury News, the accident took place around 5:05 p.m. just south of Camden Avenue.
Krishnan had been crossing Almaden Expressway, outside of a marked crosswalk, when he was hit by a red 2009 Toyota sedan. The driver of the sedan was a teenage male, who remained on scene to cooperate with authorities.

Krishnan was severely wounded in the crash and was found down in the road. Paramedics quickly rushed Krishnan to the hospital, but sadly, he passed away in the hospital a short time later.
The San Jose Police Department is handling the investigation of Padmanbhan Krishnan’s death. No reports have indicated the arrest or citation of the young driver.
