Los Angeles, CA (October 31, 2023) The Tuesday morning commute looks to be just as hectic as Monday morning’s commute, according to Los Angeles traffic logs. Injuries were reported on Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101.
Rich Prickett with KTLA 5 reported that the collision occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31st. It all started when a car stalled on the freeway. A number of other vehicles came through and didn’t see the stalled car until it was too late. The stalled car was hit by several vehicles, according to authorities.
Injuries were reported and ambulances transported injured to local hospitals, but the number of injuries, nor the extent of injuries have been reported at this time.

A SigAlert was issued for the area and motorists were encouraged to take an alternate route on their morning commutes. The traffic on Highway 101 was backed up all the way to North Hollywood, according to KTLA 5’s Traffic Reporter, Ginger Chan.
Sky5 flew above the collision and received footage of several passenger vehicles as well as emergency vehicles blocking most of the lanes on Highway 101. Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove damaged vehicles from the roadway and crews diligently worked to clear the road of glass and debris that was left behind from the crash.
