CARSON, CA (OCTOBER 16, 2023): 35-year-old Solis Anthony was killed in a bicycle collision in Carson on the 405 freeway Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway at the
Wilmington Avenue off-ramp. Anthony was riding a bicycle on the right shoulder when he traveled into the slow lane and directly in front of a 2014 Volvo.

The driver attempted to stop, but ultimately struck Anthony and knocked him into traffic lanes. Unfortunately, Anthony died from his injuries.
Authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be factors in this collision. They continue to investigate this accident resulting in the death of Solis Anthony.
