Tustin, CA (October 3, 2023) A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the 55 Freeway near Tustin on Monday. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. in Orange County, south of 4th Street.

The Tustin Police Department arrived at the scene to find a pedestrian lying in the roadway on the freeway. Sky5 flew above the scene and captured video of a body under a covering. A silver Toyota Tacoma was parked at the scene and had sustained major front-end damage.
The name of the person killed in this accident has not been released. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
